Headline:Frankfurt Coach Hints Ekitike Exit as Liverpool Move Edges Closer

Eintracht Frankfurt manager Dino Toppmoller has admitted Hugo Ekitike could leave this summer amid Liverpool’s interest. Speaking to Sport1, Toppmoller said: “It’s quite possible that this, too, is history now,” referring to Ekitike’s future after losing Omar Marmoush earlier.

Reports suggest Liverpool have agreed a deal worth up to £81m for the 23-year-old, who scored 22 goals with 12 assists last season. Ekitike’s potential arrival follows links of Darwin Nunez to Napoli and Saudi clubs, while Luis Diaz’s future also remains uncertain.

If completed, Ekitike would be Liverpool’s third Bundesliga signing this summer after Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
