The 2024/25 season has proven difficult for United’s attacking line. Under former manager Erik ten Hag, the team struggled to generate scoring chances due to their overly direct style of play.
While new manager Ruben Amorim has implemented more dynamic tactics, his frequent changes have disrupted the forwards’ rhythm, impeding consistent goal-scoring form.
Despite these challenges, Rashford has been one of United’s standout players, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in all competitions. However, off-field scrutiny regarding his lifestyle has added pressure, and rumors suggest the club is considering selling their star forward.
TalkSPORT host Alan Brazil recently shared his thoughts on Rashford’s mindset, stating (via GIVEMESPORT): “I think he might be looking abroad. I’m not speculating, but it’s being discussed, so we need to talk about it. Someone I know who is connected to him says he feels targeted and is frustrated. There are always two sides to every story, but clearly, something isn’t right.”
At 27, Rashford continues to prove his worth on the field. With limited reliable attacking options like Rasmus Højlund, Joshua Zirkzee, and Alejandro Garnacho, losing Rashford could further weaken United’s offensive strength.
However, if the rift between Rashford and the club proves insurmountable, a transfer may become unavoidable.
