MotoGP News: Ducati official Davide Tardozzi admits he doubts he will see the Ducati team order at the upcoming Barcelona MotoGP event. He will let all his riders fight in a sporting manner to finish the 2024 season.
As is known, Francesco Bagnaia is currently 24 points behind Jorge Martin in the standings. With 1 race remaining at the Catalunya Circuit, Bagnaia certainly needs help from other riders to thwart Martin’s dream of winning the championship title.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Bagnaia will get much help at the Barcelona GP. The reason is, Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez are also fighting closely for third place in the final standings.
“It’s very difficult because Jorge and Pecco are playing for number one, but the two riders who can help this situation in one way or another are Marc and Enea. And they are playing for number three (in the championship). In the end, third place in the championship is not “It’s a bad thing for many reasons,” said Tardozzi when interviewed by local media.
“So, I think it will be difficult to discuss something like that. Apart from that, I want to leave the drivers free to fight for their own championship. (We said) what we have been saying since the middle of the year: don’t do stupid things among yourselves “We don’t want there to be any really bad (hostilities) or anything like that between our top players,” he said again.
