Sir Jim Ratcliffe has openly admitted one of his biggest regrets since taking over at

Manchester United letting a key player leave far too cheaply under Erik ten Hag’s reign.

“We sold him for a cheap fee back then… but in today’s transfer market, he’s worth more than Šeško and Mbeumo combined. It still hurts.

We regret that decision to this very day,” the United owner confessed.

Ratcliffe went further, suggesting that keeping this player could have changed the course of United’s recent history:

“If he was still here, I have no doubt we could have won the Premier League easily.”

A brutal reflection and a stark reminder of how costly one transfer decision can be.

As the Red Devils continue their rebuild, this revelation adds more fuel to the ongoing debate about Ten Hag’s transfer record and the club’s direction.
