Attilio: 30 years have passed since he left us!

THE Attilio he is no longer with us… But his melody will resound forever… Forever his trumpet will sound, in the “Temple» his Karaiskakis and in every corner of it Greece and of the world where they exist Olympians. The man who dedicated his life to Olympicwho set the pace on the platform and brought life to the field with his unique favorite tune, was his friend Olympiakou, Vassilis Douridasknown as Attilio!

The nickname “Attilio» they gave it to him one day at the stadium, when he was trying to enter the Karaiskakis hastily, pushing those in front of him. Another fan said to him: “Who are you? THE Attilio (s.s. well-known wrestler of the time)?” and his name remained forever.
