Alan Shearer tells Alexander lsak to sack agent after “nonsensical” statement News

Speaking to Betfair, Newcastle legend Shearer did not hold back. “Oh my God, what a mess his agent has made of this,” he said. “If I were him, I’d get his agent in a room and sack him immediately. The agent advised him to sign a six-year deal without a release clause—absolutely ridiculous.”

Shearer also questioned the reasoning behind Isak’s complaint. “To believe someone’s word in football and claim, ‘I’ll be able to leave at the end of the season,’ is nonsense. Come on, really?” he added.

In the aftermath of Isak’s remarks, Newcastle issued their own statement, making it clear they do not expect the conditions for his sale to be met this summer.

Liverpool remain the club most interested in securing Isak’s signature. Their initial £110 million offer was rejected, but they are reportedly preparing a second bid in hopes of landing the striker.
