Chelsea FC Women have confirmed that Ashanti Akpan will spend the 2025/26
season on loan at WSL 2 side Southampton.
The highly-rated young midfielder will be looking to gain valuable first-team experience, sharpen her development, and play a key role in Southampton’s push this season.
Chelsea remain confident in Akpan’s long-term potential and believe this move will give her the platform to showcase her talent on a consistent basis.
