Christian Falk: Liverpool Monitoring Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise
Reliable German journalist Christian Falk has reported that Liverpool are actively tracking Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise.
Olise, who previously impressed in the Premier League with Crystal Palace, has flourished since moving to Germany. The 23-year-old netted 20 goals in all competitions last season and has already opened the new campaign strongly with three goals in three games.
In his CF Bayern Insider column, Falk confirmed that Liverpool, Manchester City, and PSG are among the clubs monitoring the French international. However, securing a deal would be complicated. Olise does not have a release clause in his contract, and Transfermarkt currently values him at around €100 million.
For Liverpool, the winger is seen as a possible long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. His pace, creativity, and finishing ability make him an ideal option for the right wing.
Falk added:
“It is TRUE: Premier League clubs are monitoring Michael Olise. Other top European clubs, including PSG, are also interested. As a French player, he would fit perfectly into their philosophy.”
He also highlighted the regret among English clubs for missing out on Olise when he left Crystal Palace. Newcastle were the only Premier League side to make a serious attempt to sign him at the time. Now, with top clubs circling, Bayern Munich remain firm in their stance — they are not considering offers and have rejected claims of an exit clause.
