Mohamed Salah has set yet another milestone in Liverpool’s history books. The Egyptian forward scored a decisive penalty in the Reds’ 1-0 Premier League victory over Burnley, marking his 35th converted spot-kick in league football for the club.
In doing so, Salah overtook the legendary Billy Liddell, who had held the record since the 1940s and 1950s with 34 penalties.
Since arriving at Anfield in 2017, Salah has scored more than 150 Premier League goals and over 200 across all competitions, further cementing his legacy as one of Liverpool’s greatest and most consistent forwards of all time.
