According to Spanish reports, the La Liga giants are open to a deal involving Rodrygo, with Xabi Alonso ready to facilitate the transfer of one of Liverpool’s summer signings. Sources suggest that Real Madrid has agreed, in principle, to swap Rodrygo for Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz, who has struggled to meet expectations since his move from Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool started the season in fine form, winning their first five Premier League matches, but a difficult spell saw them lose four consecutive games, allowing Arsenal to take control of the title race.
