Enrique has earned high praise in France, having led PSG to their first Champions League title last season as part of a treble-winning campaign. It was the second treble of his career, the first coming in 2015 with Barcelona.
In a surprising twist, Liverpool may consider asking Jurgen Klopp to return on a short-term basis should they decide to part ways with Slot before Enrique becomes available.
