Barcelona coach Hansi Flick gave updates on Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, both of whom were absent for the Barbastro match.
After the team’s 4-0 win, Flick commented, “I believe Lamine will be fit for the Spanish Super Cup.”
“Raphinha has been dealing with some issues. He trained today, but we decided not to include him.”
Yamal is recovering well and is expected to return sooner than expected, likely in time for the Super Cup.
Raphinha should also be available for the tournament, as he was given additional rest by sitting out the Copa Del Rey match.
Flick also shared his thoughts on Ansu Fati’s brief appearance in the Barbastro match.
