Barcelona’s captaincy hierarchy has been reshuffled following Marc-André ter Stegen’s departure, with a new leadership order now established inside the squad.

According to reports, Ronald Araújo will assume the role of first captain, reflecting his growing authority and importance at the heart of the team. Frenkie de Jong is next in line, followed by Raphinha, whose leadership presence has steadily increased. Pedri González takes fourth place, while the fifth spot will be shared between Eric García and Ferran Torres.

The updated order highlights Barcelona’s trust in a blend of defensive leaders, experienced internationals, and key figures from the club’s long-term project as they move into a new chapter.
