Real Madrid vs Las Palmas: Official Line-Up Without Tchouaméni and Mendy

Real Madrid will host Las Palmas this Sunday at the Santiago Bernabéu for the 20th round of La Liga, with the chance to take the top spot in the standings. Carlo Ancelotti has named his starting eleven, despite several key absences.

After Atlético Madrid’s loss to Leganés (1-0) and Barcelona’s 1-1 draw at Getafe, a win against Las Palmas would see Real Madrid reclaim first place. However, Ancelotti’s squad will be missing several key players, including Vinícius Júnior, Luka Modrić, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurélien Tchouaméni, who is sidelined with a left-foot injury, as confirmed in the official statement released on Sunday.

With these absences, the team will rely on those available to deliver a strong performance, especially after their 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Starting Line-Up:

Real Madrid will line up in a 4-3-3 formation with Thibaut Courtois in goal. Ferland Mendy, who missed the last Copa del Rey match, remains on the bench, leaving Fran García to continue at left-back. In the center of defense, Antonio Rüdiger will partner with young Raúl Asensio, who impressed despite conceding a penalty against Celta Vigo last week. On the right, Lucas Vázquez completes the back four.

In midfield, Dani Ceballos, Federico Valverde, and Jude Bellingham will be tasked with linking defense and attack. Up front, Kylian Mbappé will once again spearhead the attack, with the French forward in excellent form since December. He will be supported by Rodrygo Goes and Brahim Díaz.

The match is set to kick off at 17:00 GMT, and promises to be an exciting contest.
