Chelsea have initiated early talks with a Premier League club regarding the potential signing of a key player, as reported by David Ornstein of The Athletic. The Blues are looking for new attacking options as they explore targets to strengthen their squad.

One such target is Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, a 20-year-old winger who has impressed with eight goals and five assists this season.

Chelsea have made inquiries about Garnacho, alongside Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, as they search for exciting wide attackers to fit head coach Enzo Maresca’s plans. Although initial discussions are still in the early stages, Chelsea’s interest is clear.

Additionally, Napoli has been eyeing Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but United has turned down their advances, and Chelsea may now see an opportunity.

Alongside Garnacho, Chelsea has also been linked with Deportivo La Coruna’s Yeremay Hernandez as part of their broad approach to finding new forward options.
