One of Real Madrid’s first-team players has made a firm decision about his future with the club during the winter transfer window.
Following their 4-1 victory over Las Palmas in the 20th round of La Liga, which allowed them to reclaim the top position in the Spanish league with 46 points after Atlético Madrid’s loss to Leganés, Dani Ceballos, the midfielder, has clarified his intentions amid rumors linking him with a return to Real Betis.
Ceballos shared in an interview with Mundo Deportivo: “I’ve had discussions with both the club and the coach, and I will definitely stay at Real Madrid until the end of the season.” He added, “I wish the best for Betis, especially since they’re currently facing tough times, but I have faith in their ability to bounce back.”
He went on to praise Betis, saying, “There are excellent players at Betis, such as Isco, Giovani Lo Celso, and others,” and concluded by expressing confidence in the club’s future: “I believe they’re capable of achieving better results in the near future.”
