Barcelona have officially completed the signing of Jesse Bisiwu, with club president Joan Laporta personally involved in the contract-signing ceremony as the teenage winger takes his first steps as a Barça player. ✍️🤝
The transfer had already been officially announced by Barcelona, with Bisiwu signing a contract that runs until June 2031. The deal is reportedly worth around €8.5 million, with Club Brugge also retaining a 20% future sell-on clause.
And now the exciting part begins. 👀🔥
The 18-year-old Belgian winger has joined Barça after making a name for himself as one of the promising young talents to emerge from Club Brugge’s academy.
His biggest weapons?
⚡ Explosive pace
🎨 Direct dribbling
🔥 1v1 ability
💨 Quick acceleration
🧠 Attacking versatility
Bisiwu primarily operates on the wing and is capable of playing on either side, giving Barcelona another exciting young attacking option for the future.
Even more interestingly, Barça are not planning to simply leave him waiting in the youth system.
Bisiwu is expected to have a Barça Atlètic registration while remaining around Hansi Flick’s first-team environment, giving the coaching staff an opportunity to monitor his development closely.
That could be a fascinating pathway for the youngster.
Barcelona have already invested heavily in their attacking future, and Bisiwu now joins a group of exciting young talents hoping to break through at Camp Nou.
The timing is perfect.
With Flick rebuilding Barcelona’s attack and demanding pace, intensity and versatility from his forwards, Bisiwu has the opportunity to learn directly from some of the best attackers in the world. 🔵🔴🔥
And the dream has already started.
Bisiwu described the move as a dream come true and said he is ready to work hard and be available whenever the coach needs him.
