Manchester United have reportedly been hit with a major transfer threat after Bayern Munich emerged as a potential suitor for Benjamin Šeško, with fresh claims suggesting the Bundesliga giants could be ready to test United’s resolve with a huge offer. 👀🔥
According to the circulating report, Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund is said to be an admirer of the Slovenian striker and reportedly considers him an ideal long-term option for the club’s attack. A sensational £60 million proposal has even been claimed.
But there is a major twist.
There is currently no reliable confirmation that Bayern have actually submitted a £60 million bid for Šeško. What is supported by recent reporting is Bayern’s interest in the Manchester United striker. That stance is understandable when you look at Šeško’s development under Michael Carrick. After a difficult opening period at Old Trafford, the striker exploded into life during the second half of the campaign. The Premier League highlighted that he scored six goals in seven appearances during one particularly impressive run under Carrick, showing exactly why United invested heavily in him.
United paid RB Leipzig a package worth around £76.5 million plus £8.5 million in potential bonuses to bring Šeško to Old Trafford in 2025.
