The wait is over! João Cancelo has reportedly been successfully registered with LaLiga, meaning the Portuguese full-back is now officially available for Barcelona and can be selected by Hansi Flick. 👀🔥
After all the paperwork drama surrounding his return, this is the news Barça supporters have been waiting for. The administrative hurdle has finally been cleared, opening the door for Cancelo to make his latest chapter in Catalonia even more exciting. 🔵🔴
And this isn’t just another squad registration. Cancelo is returning to Barcelona on a permanent deal after previously enjoying two spells with the club. Barça have secured the 32-year-old until June 2029 following his departure from Al-Hilal. 🇵🇹✍️
The numbers from his previous Barça spells tell part of the story too. Cancelo made 65 appearances, scored six goals and supplied nine assists during his earlier periods at the club. Now, Flick will be hoping the attacking full-back can produce even more magic in a Barça side chasing another LaLiga title. ⚡️🔥
Cancelo’s versatility could be a massive weapon for Flick. His ability to operate on either flank, push high up the pitch and contribute creatively gives Barcelona another dimension in possession. And with Flick reportedly impressed by his technique, passion and readiness, the Portuguese could be thrown straight into the action. 👑🔥
Even better for Barça, Cancelo is considered fit and ready ahead of the league clash with Elche, meaning supporters may not have to wait long before seeing him back in competitive action. 👀💥
Barcelona have now reportedly registered all four of their major summer additions, with Cancelo joining Rodri, Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi among the players cleared to feature. That gives Flick a serious boost as Barça prepare to begin their title defence. 🚀🔵🔴
The Portuguese is back. The paperwork is DONE. The Barça shirt is waiting. 😮💨🔥
Now comes the exciting part: seeing what João Cancelo can do in his latest Barça chapter! 💙❤️🇵🇹
