Manchester City defender Kyle Walker reportedly offered his services to Real Madrid during the current winter transfer window, but the club turned down the opportunity.
Despite facing significant injuries, particularly in defense, and needing to bolster their squad, Real Madrid has been actively looking for new signings. However, according to Marca, Real Madrid rejected the offer for Walker, stating they would only consider signing Trent Alexander-Arnold, or no one at all.
Although Walker’s name came up in discussions, the negotiations weren’t seen as serious. Real Madrid is aware of the need to strengthen their right-back position, especially with Lucas Vázquez under pressure and Fede Valverde being used occasionally in that role. Still, the club has decided to hold off on any transfers unless Liverpool makes a move.
Marca also reports that despite receiving many offers, Real Madrid remains committed to their strategy and will not stray from their plans, with Alexander-Arnold being the only player the club is seriously considering for the position.
