Manchester United are officially heading back to Europe’s biggest stage, and the Champions League return is about to get VERY interesting! 🔴🏆
The Red Devils’ first league-phase fixture of the 2026/27 Champions League campaign will be a home clash against Azerbaijani side Sabah FC at Old Trafford on September 10. 🏟️🔥 UEFA’s official fixture list confirms the showdown, giving United the perfect opportunity to kick off their European adventure in front of the Old Trafford faithful.
And make no mistake, this is more than just another fixture. 👀 Manchester United are returning to the Champions League after missing out in recent seasons, following their third-place Premier League finish under Michael Carrick last campaign. Now, the pressure is on to make their return count. 💪🔴
The new Champions League format means United will face eight different opponents during the league phase, with four matches at home and four away. And the fixture list has already delivered some heavyweight European battles, including clashes with Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid and Roma. 😮💨🔥
But before those blockbuster nights arrive, Sabah will be walking into a rocking Old Trafford. 😳🏟️ The Theatre of Dreams is expected to be buzzing as United fans finally get another taste of Champions League football under the lights.
For Carrick and his squad, this is the kind of night where a strong start could set the tone for the entire European campaign. No excuses. No slow start. Just United under the Old Trafford lights. 🌙🔴
And if the Red Devils can turn home advantage into three points, the message across Europe will be clear: Manchester United are back in the Champions League, and they mean business! 😤🏆🔥
The European nights are back. Old Trafford is ready. ❤️🤩
