Liverpool’s transfer plans have taken another intriguing twist, with the Reds reportedly showing interest in Chelsea duo Malo Gusto and Estêvão as they look to strengthen two key areas of the squad. 🔴🔥
The right-back position has emerged as a major concern for Liverpool, and their late pursuit of Gusto shows just how seriously the club viewed the situation. Reports revealed that Liverpool made a last-minute approach for the French full-back, hoping to bring him in on loan. However, Chelsea were only prepared to consider a permanent departure, causing negotiations to collapse.
Gusto would have been a fascinating addition. ⚡🇫🇷 His pace, attacking instincts and ability to operate on either side of the defence make him an attractive option, particularly with Liverpool looking for greater depth and reliability at right-back.
And then there is Estêvão… 👀🇧🇷🔥
The Brazilian youngster has also been linked with Liverpool as the Reds continue searching for explosive attacking options. His emergence at Chelsea has generated plenty of excitement, and Liverpool’s reported interest underlines the club’s desire to maintain serious quality and competition in the wide areas.
Liverpool have already made a huge statement by bringing in Bradley Barcola, but their recruitment strategy suggests they are not simply looking for one attacking solution. The squad still has questions surrounding the balance of the right side, making a player with Estêvão’s creativity and flair an extremely tempting prospect. 🔥
The problem? Chelsea have little reason to make things easy. 😮💨💙
The Blues rejected Liverpool’s late attempt for Gusto because they wanted a permanent deal, while Estêvão is regarded as an important part of Chelsea’s project. That makes any potential double raid extremely difficult.
Still, Liverpool’s interest sends a clear message. 👊🔴
The Reds know they need to strengthen at right-back, and they clearly want more firepower and competition on the right wing. Gusto and Estêvão would address both needs in completely different ways.
Imagine those two arriving at Anfield… speed, youth, flair and serious attacking potential. 🤯🔥
It may be a dream scenario for Liverpool supporters, but one thing is already clear: Liverpool are looking at Chelsea’s talent pool very closely. 👀🔴
