Bryan Mbeumo has officially started the 2026/27 campaign with some serious silverware! 😮💨🔥 The Manchester United forward has been named the club’s Goal of the Month winner for August, with his spectacular finish against Ipswich Town taking the top honour.
And what a way to win it! 🤯⚽
With United already cruising in a dramatic 5-2 victory at Old Trafford, Mbeumo produced a moment of pure quality. Bruno Fernandes spotted his run and delivered a delicious through ball, before Mbeumo calmly lifted the ball over the advancing goalkeeper with a wonderfully composed finish. 🎯✨
The strike had everything: intelligence, technique, timing and that little touch of arrogance you want from a top attacker. 😮💨🔥 It was the kind of finish that made the entire stadium rise to its feet.
Mbeumo’s goal came in the 82nd minute to put United 5-1 ahead, before Ipswich grabbed a late consolation.
Interestingly, Mbeumo’s afternoon had already included a frustrating moment when he hit the crossbar from close range, but he responded in the best possible way — by producing a moment of brilliance when it mattered. 😭➡️😎
The award also adds another positive chapter to Mbeumo’s growing Manchester United story. After making a significant impact since arriving at Old Trafford, the Cameroon international continues to show why he is viewed as an important attacking weapon for the Reds. 🔴🔥
And with Bruno Fernandes pulling the strings, Marcus Rashford back in the starting XI and United showing serious attacking intent in their 5-2 comeback win, there is plenty for supporters to be excited about. 👀❤️
Mbeumo giveth… Mbeumo taketh! 😂🔥
August Goal of the Month winner. 🏆
Old Trafford entertainer. ❤️
And potentially just getting started… 👀🔥
