If you ask me to pick one Manchester United player above everyone else, I’m taking Bruno Fernandes. No hesitation. 😤🔴
The Portuguese magician has once again reminded everyone why he remains one of the most influential players at Old Trafford. Bruno isn’t simply the captain wearing the armband; he is the player United turn to when the game gets chaotic, when creativity disappears and when somebody needs to grab the match by the neck. 🧠⚽
And the numbers back up the hype. After an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, Fernandes broke the Premier League’s long-standing assist record and collected major individual honours, including the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the Football Writers’ Player of the Year.
Then came the start of the new season… and Bruno decided to turn the volume up again. 🔥
Against Ipswich Town, the United captain produced a sensational hat-trick in a 5-2 comeback victory, adding an assist as well. Three goals, one assist and another reminder that when Bruno is cooking, Manchester United can be absolutely terrifying going forward. 😮💨🔥
What makes him so special isn’t just the goals or assists. It’s the personality.
Bruno demands the ball. 🎯
Bruno takes responsibility. 💪
Bruno creates chances out of nothing. ✨
Bruno leads when the pressure is at its highest. 👑
He can play the killer pass, take a set piece, arrive inside the box, score from distance and still be screaming at his teammates to push forward moments later. That mentality is exactly what you expect from the captain of Manchester United.
And now, with Michael Carrick at the helm, Bruno’s influence looks even more important to the team’s attacking identity. His ability to operate between the lines, create opportunities and contribute directly to goals makes him one of United’s biggest weapons.
Some will argue for other stars. Some will point to the young talents emerging at Old Trafford. Others will have their own favourite.
But if the question is simply:
“Who is Manchester United’s best player right now?” 👀
For me, the answer is BRUNO FERNANDES. 🇵🇹👑
The captain.
The creator.
The match-winner.
The chaos merchant. 😂🔥
The man United keep turning to when they need something special.
Now let’s hear it from the Red Devils… 👇🔴
