🔴😴 LIVERPOOL LEFT ANFIELD WITH REGRETS AS FULHAM STUN THE REDS INTO ANOTHER DRAW!

Liverpool had the perfect opportunity to build momentum, but instead they produced another frustrating afternoon as Fulham walked away from Anfield with a point. 😩🔴

After the excitement of their midweek Champions League comeback against Atlético Madrid, Liverpool looked strangely flat against a Fulham side that had lost their opening three league matches. The Reds struggled to find their usual rhythm, and despite having some of Europe’s most dangerous attacking players on the pitch, clear-cut opportunities were surprisingly hard to come by.

Victor Muñoz came closest for Liverpool when his header crashed against the crossbar, but that moment was one of the few occasions where the home side genuinely looked capable of breaking the deadlock. Fulham, meanwhile, grew in confidence as the game progressed and even created some dangerous openings of their own. 😳

Liverpool’s attacking display was particularly frustrating. Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, Bradley Barcola and the rest of the Reds’ attacking unit simply couldn’t find the final touch. Fulham defended stubbornly, remained compact and refused to give Liverpool the space they desperately needed. 🧱🔥

Andoni Iraola tried to change the game by introducing Cody Gakpo and Alexis Mac Allister, with Mac Allister immediately adding more control and creativity in midfield. Liverpool improved slightly, but the breakthrough never arrived.

There was also a nervous moment at the other end as Alisson was forced into important interventions after Liverpool’s build-up play became increasingly risky. Jeremy Jacquet once again stood out defensively, helping prevent the Reds from suffering an even more embarrassing result. 🧤🛡️

Iraola later admitted that Liverpool “lacked freshness”, with the demanding schedule appearing to take its toll after the Atlético Madrid clash just days earlier. But fatigue or not, supporters will still wonder how Liverpool failed to beat a Fulham side that had arrived at Anfield without a single league point.

The bigger concern is the pattern. This was Liverpool’s third draw in their opening four Premier League matches, leaving them unbeaten but far from convincing. Five points from four games is hardly the kind of start supporters expected from a squad packed with attacking quality. 😬📉

Fulham, on the other hand, will celebrate this point like a victory. Their organisation, discipline and willingness to attack when opportunities appeared earned them a deserved reward, while Calvin Bassey delivered a commanding defensive performance at the heart of the Cottagers’ back line. 🇳🇬🔥

Liverpool now have some serious questions to answer. Is the demanding schedule already exposing weaknesses? Is Iraola’s intense style draining the squad? Or are the Reds simply struggling to make their new attacking pieces click together?

One thing is certain: Liverpool should have expected more from this game. 🔴😤

And if the Reds want to challenge at the top this season, these are exactly the kind of home matches they cannot afford to keep throwing away. 👀🏆
