Barcelona and the Suárez family are being linked again, but this time the story is about the next generation. 👀
Benjamín Suárez, the son of Luis Suárez, has been developing alongside Thiago Messi in Inter Miami’s academy, continuing a football journey that has naturally attracted plenty of attention because of his famous surname. 🇺🇾⚽
Benjamín has already featured for Inter Miami’s youth sides at international tournaments. In the 2025 LaLiga FC Futures, he scored during Inter Miami’s 4–0 victory over Monterrey, showing that he is making his own mark rather than simply living in his father’s shadow. 🔥👏
The connection with Barcelona makes the story even more fascinating.
Luis Suárez spent six hugely successful seasons at Barça, forming one of the most famous attacking partnerships in football alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar. Now their sons are growing up in the same football generation, with Thiago Messi and Benjamín Suárez having played together for Inter Miami’s academy. 👑🔵🔴
They have already shared the pitch at major youth tournaments, including LaLiga FC Futures, where Inter Miami faced Barcelona. They also played together at the Newell’s Cup in Argentina.
The idea of Benjamín eventually wearing the Barcelona shirt therefore carries a huge emotional angle. His father became a legend at Camp Nou, and the teenager has already been exposed to the same football culture through his family’s connection to the club. 😮💨🔥
However, the graphic circulating online claiming “DEAL DONE” and a €600K market value should not be treated as confirmation of a completed Barcelona transfer. Current reliable reporting confirms Benjamín’s involvement with Inter Miami’s academy, but I could not find authoritative confirmation that Barcelona have completed a deal for him.
For now, the most interesting part is the potential.
A Suárez back in Barcelona? 🤯
The famous No. 9 may have left Camp Nou years ago, but football has a funny way of bringing stories full circle.
Luis Suárez created history in Barcelona. Now everyone is watching to see where Benjamín’s own football journey takes him. 🔵🔴🇺🇾🔥
