Raphinha has made his mentality perfectly clear: Barcelona are not a club where simply competing is enough. The target is to win. Everything. 🔥🏆
The Brazilian has embraced the enormous expectations that come with wearing the Barça shirt, insisting that when you play for a club of Barcelona’s stature, trophies have to be the ultimate objective.
And Raphinha isn’t just talking anymore.
He is now carrying the responsibility of leading the team as Barcelona’s first captain. 👑🇧🇷
His transformation at Barça has been remarkable. The winger arrived from Leeds United in 2022 after playing a major role in helping Leeds avoid Premier League relegation. Since moving to Catalonia, however, his career has gone to another level.
He has already won three La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups and one Copa del Rey with Barcelona. 🏆🏆🏆
His 2024/25 campaign was particularly spectacular, with Raphinha producing 34 goals and 22 assists in 57 appearances, while finishing fifth in the Ballon d’Or voting. 🤯🔥
Now, at 29, he has added something even more important to his Barcelona legacy: leadership.
Hansi Flick has entrusted him with the captain’s armband, making Raphinha the first Brazilian to become Barcelona’s principal captain. 🇧🇷👑
And his words to the squad have reflected exactly what is expected from someone wearing that armband.
Raphinha has spoken about the responsibility of representing Barcelona and the importance of fighting together for success. He has also made it clear that the club’s ambitions cannot stop at winning one trophy.
The message is simple:
If you wear the Barcelona shirt, you fight for every trophy available. 🏆🔥
That mentality is already visible on the pitch.
Raphinha has started the 2026/27 season in sensational form, scoring regularly while operating in a more central role under Flick. His extraordinary start has seen him rewrite some early-season records and establish himself as one of Barça’s most dangerous attacking weapons. ⚡⚽
The Brazilian is no longer the player who arrived from Leeds hoping to prove he belonged at the highest level.
He is now one of the faces of Barcelona.
One of the leaders.
One of the biggest attacking threats.
And the man trusted to lift the trophies if Barça achieve their ambitions. 👑🏆
From Leeds survival battles…
To Barcelona champion…
To Ballon d’Or contender…
To Barcelona captain…
Raphinha’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. 🇧🇷🔵🔴
And now he wants the biggest prize of them all.
Every trophy. Every competition. No excuses.
Because according to Raphinha’s mentality, if you are at Barcelona and you are not aiming to win everything, you might as well be at the wrong club. 🔥🏆👑
