Liverpool Women delivered a statement performance at Anfield, defeating Everton 2–0 in the Merseyside derby and finally ending a painful run of derby defeats at the stadium. ❤️🔥🏟️
The Reds came flying out of the blocks and needed just four minutes to break the deadlock. Natalia Ramos delivered a dangerous corner and Beata Olsson rose brilliantly to power a header into the far corner, sending Anfield into celebration. 💥⚽🔴
Everton tried to fight their way back into the contest, but Liverpool continued to create chances and control large periods of the game.
