Barcelona have reportedly renewed their interest in Estêvão Willian, with sporting director Deco closely monitoring the Brazilian youngster’s situation at Chelsea. 👀🔥 The connection isn’t new: Barça admired Estêvão during his Palmeiras days, and his current lack of Premier League minutes has reportedly brought the club’s attention back to him.
Estêvão’s start to the 2026/27 Premier League campaign has been frustrating. Chelsea’s official statistics show that the 19-year-old has made four league appearances but only 23 minutes, without starting a Premier League match.
That situation has naturally created transfer speculation. Reports say Barcelona are watching closely, although there is currently no indication that Estêvão is actively pushing to leave Chelsea.
And then comes the BIG question… 😭🔥
🤯 HOW WOULD ESTÊVÃO AND LAMINE YAMAL PLAY TOGETHER?
Both are young, left-footed attacking talents who can operate from the right, attack defenders one-on-one and create something out of nothing. 🪄⚡
But Barcelona already have their superstar in that position.
Lamine Yamal. 👑🇪🇸
The teenager has been producing ridiculous numbers for Barça this season, with 7 goals and 4 assists in seven league appearances according to FBref’s current 2026/27 data. 😮💨📊
So signing Estêvão wouldn’t simply be a case of bringing in another winger and putting him on the bench.
Barça would need to find a tactical solution. 👀
Could Estêvão eventually play more centrally? Could Yamal rotate into different attacking zones? Could both be given freedom to switch positions during matches?
That is where things become REALLY juicy. 🍿🔥
Because imagine a Barcelona attack featuring Yamal and Estêvão exchanging positions, combining in tight spaces and constantly forcing defenders to decide which wonderkid to track. 😳💀
And there is already some history between the two.
When Chelsea faced Barcelona in the Champions League last season, Estêvão scored a spectacular goal in a 3–0 Chelsea victory, producing one of the standout moments of the night.
Now, months later, Barça are reportedly still keeping tabs on him. 👀🔵🔴
But Chelsea have little reason to make things easy. Estêvão joined the London club from Palmeiras in 2025 and remains part of their long-term plans. Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has also publicly indicated that the youngster remains part of the project.
So this is not a confirmed transfer or an active deal.
It is a situation Barcelona are reportedly monitoring closely. 📡👀
But if Estêvão continues struggling for regular Premier League minutes, and if his situation changes in the future, expect Barcelona to remain interested.
Because Deco clearly hasn’t forgotten about the Brazilian magician. 🇧🇷✨
LAMINE YAMAL + ESTÊVÃO IN THE SAME BARÇA ATTACK? 😭🔥
That isn’t just a transfer rumour…
THAT’S A DREAM SCENARIO FOR CULERS! 😍🔵🔴
