Barça Stars Take Over International Duty!

The Blaugrana are once again making their presence felt on the international stage, with several Barcelona players representing their countries during this international break.

João Cancelo was on duty with Portugal against Denmark in Copenhagen, as Portugal continued their Nations League campaign. Cancelo has been an important part of the Portuguese setup during this international window, bringing his experience and attacking quality from the full-back position.

Meanwhile, Barça’s young talents were also flying the flag for Spain.

Marc Bernal and Xavi Espart were involved with Spain U21 against San Marino U21 at the Stadio Olimpico di Serravalle in a European U21 Championship qualifier. Both youngsters are continuing to gain valuable international experience as they push their development at the highest level.

And there was plenty to celebrate for the Blaugrana contingent. Portugal defeated Denmark 4-2, with Cancelo getting on the scoresheet, while Spain U21 produced a huge 13-0 victory over San Marino. Cancelo played 63 minutes, while Espart came on at half-time and Bernal was rested. (FC Barcelona)
