Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Barcelona midfielder Fermín López, with the Spanish playmaker being discussed as a potential long-term successor to captain Bruno Fernandes. 👀🇪🇸

Reports have claimed United were willing to explore a huge deal for López, with figures of around €100m–€150m being mentioned in different reports. The idea is clear: if Bruno eventually leaves Old Trafford, United could look toward a younger creative midfielder capable of taking over the No.10 role.

López is an energetic attacking midfielder who can also operate from wider areas, bringing goals, movement and creativity into the final third. 🔥⚽

Bruno remains absolutely central to United’s plans for now. The club have publicly made it clear that they do not want to sell their captain, while his contract situation continues to generate speculation.

But United have to think about the future. Bruno is now 32, and preparing for life after their talisman will eventually become unavoidable. 🔴
