Despite Barcelona’s 4-3 defeat to Inter, head coach Hansi Flick remained proud of his squad.
“This team commands respect across Europe. When we reflect on our performance, we do so with pride—for the effort and our style of play,” Flick said after the match.
He emphasized the importance of reflection and staying focused: “As usual, we’ll review the match and determine our next steps. Losses are part of football and life.”
Looking ahead, Flick added, “We’ve got a tough fixture on Sunday and we’ll aim to win that as well. Then we have just three days to prepare for the next match and keep pushing forward.”
Before ending the press conference, Flick addressed earlier remarks about the referee:
“Let me clarify—I may have commented on the officiating, but I want to wish Inter the best. They played well and I hope they do great in Munich.”
Barcelona now turn their attention to La Liga, with El Clásico looming. The team faces a tough challenge after going through 120 minutes against Inter.
