Manchester United’s Andre Onana Has £350,000 Lamborghini Seized by Police
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana’s £350,000 Lamborghini Urus was seized by police after his friend, who was driving the car, was stopped for lacking valid insurance. According to The Sun, the vehicle was flagged by an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system in Hale Barns.
Onana now has 14 days to provide proper insurance and reclaim the vehicle. If he fails to do so, authorities may crush or auction the supercar.
The incident occurred before the second leg of United’s Europa League semifinal against Athletic Bilbao, a match in which Onana played and helped secure a 4-1 victory. This is not the first time a United player has had issues with law enforcement over a vehicle—Paul Pogba had his Rolls-Royce seized in a similar case.
Onana, who joined Manchester United from Inter Milan in 2023, has faced mixed reviews for his performances. Former player Paul Parker recently criticized him, suggesting the club should consider replacing him with Leicester City’s Mads Hermansen. Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League clubs are reportedly monitoring Onana as a potential summer signing.
