Vinícius Jr. to Extend Real Madrid Stay with Lucrative Long-Term Deal

Vinícius Jr. is poised to extend his commitment to Real Madrid by signing a new contract that runs until 2030. The agreement, worth nearly €100 million net over five years, solidifies his role as a key player in the club’s future alongside stars like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé.

According to reports from AS, the deal has already been finalized and will be officially signed after the conclusion of the La Liga season, but before the Club World Cup. This new contract will make Vinícius the highest-paid player at the club, earning around €20 million net per season—an increase from his previous €75 million contract signed in 2022.

Though Vinícius’s agent, Frederico Pena, typically favors shorter-term deals to maintain flexibility, this new agreement adds just three years to the existing terms. In addition to the base salary, the deal includes performance bonuses tied to goals, trophies, and individual honors. For instance, Vinícius earned a €2 million bonus this season after winning “The Best” award.

Despite interest from clubs like Al Ahli, Real Madrid remain firm, pointing to Vinícius’s €1 billion release clause as a clear message of his value and importance to the team.
