Vinicius Jr. Staying at Real Madrid: Fabrizio Romano Dismisses Premier League Speculation

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has refuted recent rumors linking Vinicius Jr. with a move to Premier League clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, or PSG.

Despite his impressive performances, including finishing as the 2024 Ballon d’Or runner-up, Romano confirmed that no discussions are taking place between the Brazilian winger and any top European teams.

Romano clarified, “There are no ongoing talks between Vinicius and any European clubs, including Chelsea, PSG, or Manchester United,” and described the rumors as “far from reality.”

However, interest from the Saudi Pro League remains strong, with reports indicating that Al-Hilal is preparing an eye-watering €300 million (£252m/$327m) offer, potentially breaking Neymar’s 2017 transfer record.

Additionally, Saudi clubs are rumored to be considering a €1 billion (£838.5m) contract over five years, though Real Madrid has yet to receive any official bids.

While Real Madrid is focused on keeping Vinicius, they are also pursuing other transfer targets, including Trent Alexander-Arnold and Erling Haaland, as well as potential moves involving Aurelien Tchouameni and promising young talent Endrick.

For the time being, Vinicius remains a key player at the Santiago Bernabéu, set to continue his standout performances amid the rumors and mounting interest from Saudi Arabia.
