Kingsley Coman has been strongly linked with a summer exit from Bayern Munich, attracting interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.
Despite having two years left on his contract by June, the 28-year-old has reportedly fallen out of favour under new manager Vincent Kompany.
Coman’s versatility across the attacking line is seen as a good fit for Arne Slot’s tactical approach at Liverpool.
However, Football Insider reports that Arsenal currently lead the race for his signature, ahead of rivals Tottenham.
Liverpool Compete with Arsenal and Saudi Clubs for Coman
Ex-Man United head scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on April 23 that Arsenal have already held discussions with Coman’s camp over a potential transfer.
Clubs from the Saudi Pro League are also monitoring the situation and could challenge Premier League sides for his services.
On Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson mentioned that a move to England is likely this summer. Coman’s vast experience at both club and international levels adds to his appeal.
“He’s 28 with significant international experience,” said Robinson. “His CV includes PSG, Juventus, and Bayern Munich.
“The challenge is that his contract runs until 2027, and Bayern won’t let him go for cheap.
“Bayern are expected to offload a few players this summer.
“What’s interesting is that Coman has an English agent, which might suggest he’s eyeing a move to the Premier League.
“He’s been linked with English clubs before and would suit Liverpool’s system well, especially given his flexibility to play wide or in the No. 10 role
