Manchester United Secures Agreement to Sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford
Manchester United have reportedly finalized a deal with Brentford to sign their standout forward Bryan Mbeumo, according to CentreDevils.
This would be the Premier League clubโs second major signing of the summer, joining Matheus Cunha, who was confirmed earlier this month.
Mbeumo, a Cameroonian international, has expressed a strong desire to move to Old Trafford since last month. Although Brentford initially rejected a ยฃ55 million offer from United, they have now accepted a revised bid of around ยฃ60 million, including bonuses.
The 25-year-old winger had his best Premier League season last year, scoring 20 goals and assisting eight in 38 appearances for Brentford. Tottenham had also shown interest in Mbeumo, hoping to reunite him with former manager Thomas Frank.
After signing Mbeumo, United will likely continue their search for another striker, though they face a setback as Sporting Lisbonโs Viktor Gyokeres prefers to join Arsenal for Champions League football.
