Chelsea legend John Obi Mikel has once again found himself at the centre of attention after praising Manchester United’s transfer business. Recent reports show Mikel described Youri Tielemans as the best midfield signing of the summer, calling United’s reported £35 million deal an “absolute steal” and highlighting the Belgian’s versatility, intelligence and ability to control games.
However, viral social media posts claiming Mikel said “one signing is enough to win Manchester United the league” or that “one more blockbuster signing would guarantee a domestic treble” have not been corroborated by any credible source.
