😭🔥 NO MORE EXCUSES… THIS IS THE REAL CARRICK BALL NOW! 🔴⚽

Manchester United’s new era under Michael Carrick has already produced a rollercoaster of emotions, and after that painful opening-day defeat to Hull City, the pressure is suddenly ON. 😭🔴

The Red Devils entered the new Premier League campaign with serious optimism after Carrick’s impressive spell last season, when he helped transform United from struggling outsiders into a team that climbed all the way to third place.

Then came Hull. 💀

A 2-0 defeat against a newly promoted side was certainly not the opening United fans had imagined. Despite controlling around 72% possession, Carrick’s men struggled to turn the ball dominance into genuine attacking danger, while poor defending from set pieces allowed Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy to punish them.

And suddenly, the jokes started flying. 😂

“So no more, perfect for Carrick ball.” 🥹

But here’s where things get interesting…

Carrick has made it clear that he isn’t interested in throwing away his ideas after one bad afternoon. He has urged his players to learn from the defeat rather than panic, while insisting that the team needs to improve quickly.

The excuses are also starting to disappear. United have invested heavily in midfield, bringing in Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, while Carlos Baleba has also been reported as a major addition to Carrick’s midfield rebuild.

That means Carrick now has more tools at his disposal. 🔥

The next test is Ipswich Town at Old Trafford on Sunday, and suddenly this match feels MUCH bigger than an ordinary second fixture. United need a response. They need intensity. They need goals. They need the players to show that Hull was a painful stumble rather than the beginning of another frustrating campaign.

Even Wayne Rooney has reportedly called for changes to the starting XI, with Luke Shaw and Andrey Santos among the players he wants Carrick to reconsider against Ipswich. 👀🔥

And that’s where the phrase “Carrick ball” suddenly becomes more than banter.

The manager has already shown that he can restore belief, improve mentality and bring players back into positions where they look more comfortable. Gary Pallister recently highlighted the mental toughness Carrick brought during his previous run, even if the football was not always spectacular.

Now comes the difficult part.

Can Carrick turn that foundation into a genuinely dominant Manchester United side? 🤔

Because after the Hull embarrassment, nobody wants beautiful excuses anymore.

They want beautiful football.

They want three points.

They want Old Trafford rocking again. 🏟️🔥

And most importantly…

They want CARRICK BALL. 😭🔴⚪️⚫️

No more talking. No more waiting. Let the football do the talking. 👀🔥
