The road to Carabao Cup glory has just become much more interesting, with the third-round draw producing several mouthwatering Premier League clashes. 👀🔥
And the biggest tie of them all?
🔴 Liverpool 🆚 Tottenham ⚪
Liverpool will welcome Spurs to Anfield in what could be an early-season heavyweight battle. Tottenham booked their place with a convincing 5-1 victory over Charlton, while Liverpool enter the competition at this stage because of their European commitments.
But Liverpool vs Spurs isn’t the only fixture grabbing attention. 😮💨
🔴 Manchester United 🆚 Brighton
🔵 Manchester City 🆚 Norwich
🔴 Ipswich 🆚 Arsenal
🟣 Coventry 🆚 Aston Villa
⚫ Sunderland 🆚 Hull City
🔴 Bournemouth 🆚 Lincoln City
⚫ Millwall 🆚 Newcastle
🔵 Everton 🆚 Wolves
🦅 Crystal Palace 🆚 Middlesbrough
🟢 Fleetwood 🆚 Sheffield United
🔵 Reading 🆚 Brentford
🔵 Leyton Orient 🆚 Bradford
🔵 Peterborough 🆚 Barnsley
Chelsea will face Leeds if they overcome Luton, while West Ham will meet either Fulham or AFC Wimbledon.
🔥 Liverpool vs Tottenham could steal the headlines, but there are plenty of potential banana skins elsewhere.
Arsenal must travel to Ipswich, while Manchester United face a Brighton side capable of making life extremely uncomfortable for any opponent. Meanwhile, holders Manchester City have been handed a home tie against Norwich. 👀
And with nine Premier League clubs involved in European competition entering at the third round, the fixture list is packed with top-flight talent.
The matches will be played across the weeks beginning September 7 and September 14, with the schedule arranged around European fixtures.
Now the big question…
🏆 WHO WILL LIFT THE CARABAO CUP?
Will Liverpool survive the Spurs test?
Can Arsenal avoid an upset at Ipswich?
Will Manchester United eliminate Brighton?
And can Manchester City defend their crown? 👀🔥
This competition is about to get VERY serious! 😱🏆
