David Raya has made his intentions crystal clear: Arsenal are not satisfied with winning just one Premier League title. The Spanish goalkeeper believes the Gunners are ready to chase everything and build something much bigger under Mikel Arteta. 👀🏆
Raya has revealed that Arsenal’s ambition is now about becoming consistent winners rather than treating their league triumph as a one-off achievement. The goalkeeper says the squad wants to attack the Premier League, domestic cups and Champions League with the belief that they can beat any opponent on their day.
That confidence is already showing on the pitch. Arsenal opened their title defence with a convincing 3-0 victory over Coventry City, following an equally impressive 3-0 Community Shield win over Manchester City. 🔥
And Raya has every reason to believe this squad is capable of going even further.
The goalkeeper was part of Arsenal’s outstanding defensive unit last season and was recognised alongside teammates including William Saliba, Gabriel, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice in the PFA Team of the Year. 🧱🧤
Now Arsenal have added even more competition.
The arrival of Ezri Konsa gives Arteta another experienced defensive option, while Bruno Guimarães adds enormous strength and intensity to the midfield. Raya believes Konsa’s arrival will increase competition within the squad and make the entire team stronger.
But perhaps the biggest message from Raya is the mentality.
Arsenal have waited 22 years to reclaim the Premier League crown. Now that the trophy has finally returned to North London, the goalkeeper insists the hunger inside the dressing room has only increased. 😮💨🔥
The Champions League is also firmly on their radar after Arsenal reached the final last season, and Raya wants the team to take another step forward in Europe.
No settling.
No celebrating one trophy and relaxing.
No taking their foot off the gas.
Raya wants MORE. Arteta wants MORE. Arsenal want MORE. 🔴⚪💪
And if the Gunners continue with this mentality, their rivals could be looking at the beginning of something much bigger than a single title-winning season. 👀🏆🔥
The message from Raya is clear: Arsenal are hungry, confident and coming for everything. 😱🔴⚪
