Liverpool have made their position crystal clear: Trey Nyoni is NOT for sale! 🔴💥
Nottingham Forest reportedly tested Liverpool’s resolve with a lucrative £30 million package for the highly-rated midfielder, but the Reds wasted no time in turning the proposal down. The offer was understood to include £25m guaranteed plus another £5m in potential add-ons.
For Forest, it was a serious attempt to bring one of Liverpool’s brightest young talents to the City Ground. But for Liverpool, the answer was simple: Nyoni is part of the plan. 🚫💰
The 19-year-old has made a strong impression around the first team and is now expected to take on a considerably bigger role this season. Liverpool reportedly see him as an important internal solution following the departure of Curtis Jones to Inter Milan.
And that is where things get really interesting… 👀🔥
Rather than cashing in on Nyoni while his market value is rising, Liverpool appear determined to give him the opportunity to prove himself at the highest level. Reports indicate that the club are also expected to open discussions over another contract extension, further underlining how highly he is regarded at Anfield.
Nyoni’s journey has been rapid. After arriving from Leicester City’s academy in 2023, he quickly caught the attention of Liverpool’s senior setup. He became the club’s youngest player to feature in the FA Cup when he debuted against Southampton in 2024, before later making his Champions League and Premier League appearances.
Now Liverpool appear ready to take the next step with him. 🚀🔴
The timing is particularly significant because the Reds have already invested heavily in the squad this summer, while simultaneously looking to develop promising young players who can eventually become established first-team stars. Liverpool’s decision to reject Forest’s approach suggests they see Nyoni as more than just another academy prospect.
They see a player who could become a major part of the future. 💎
Forest may have put £30m on the table, but Liverpool have effectively responded: keep your money. 😮💨💰
With a bigger role expected, a potential new contract on the horizon and the club refusing to entertain his departure, Trey Nyoni’s message is becoming increasingly clear:
The next chapter is at Anfield. 🔴🔥
Liverpool have rejected the money.
They have rejected the temptation.
And now they are backing the teenager to explode onto the scene. 💥👀
Trey Nyoni stays. The project continues. Anfield awaits. 😎🔴
