Barça fans know this feeling all too well… 😮💨🔵🔴
Before Karim Adeyemi started lighting up the Camp Nou with his explosive pace, fearless runs and spectacular finishing, another No.9 had already left his mark in the Blaugrana colours: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. 🇬🇦⚡
Aubameyang arrived at Barcelona in January 2022 and wasted absolutely no time reminding everyone what a natural goalscorer he was. 🎯🔥 His debut season became a beautiful little chapter in Barça history, as he finished with 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions.
And who can forget THAT night in Madrid? 😭🔥
Aubameyang scored twice as Barcelona demolished Real Madrid 4–0 at the Bernabéu, producing one of those performances that instantly became part of Barça folklore. 💀💙❤️ His movement, finishing and confidence were simply too much for Madrid to handle.
Now, years later, Adeyemi is writing his own story. 🇩🇪✨
The German forward has already given Culers something to smile about, scoring his first Champions League goal for Barça during the stunning 5–1 victory over Feyenoord at Camp Nou. His brilliant finish was one of the highlights of another explosive European night. 🔥🏟️
And the similarities are becoming impossible to ignore… 👀
⚡ Explosive pace
🎯 Natural goalscoring instinct
🔥 Fearless attacking movement
💙❤️ Love for the Barça colours
🤸♂️ And that ability to make defenders panic!
Adeyemi may have his own identity, but every time he bursts forward, cuts inside and attacks the box, some Barça fans can’t help but remember the chaos Aubameyang used to create. 😭🔥
The difference is that Adeyemi is only at the beginning of his Barça journey. And after scoring against Feyenoord, the German has already shown that he can produce spectacular moments on Europe’s biggest nights. 🌟🏆
Barça’s attack is currently overflowing with firepower, with Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Gabriel Jesus and Adeyemi all contributing to a frighteningly productive frontline. Barcelona’s 5–1 Champions League demolition of Feyenoord was another reminder of just how dangerous this attack can become. 🔥🔵🔴
Aubameyang gave Barça fans unforgettable memories.
Now Adeyemi has the opportunity to create his own.
Before Adeyemi, it was AUBA. 🤸♂️💙❤️🔥
And if Adeyemi keeps producing nights like Feyenoord… the next chapter could be VERY special. 👀🔥
