Liverpool’s French connection just got even stronger! 😍🇫🇷 Jérémy Jacquet and Bradley Barcola have both been selected in Zinedine Zidane’s first France squad, with Jacquet earning his maiden senior call-up to Les Bleus. 🌟👏
For Jacquet, this is a massive breakthrough. The 21-year-old defender has made a rapid impression since arriving at Anfield and has now been rewarded with the biggest international recognition of his young career. 🧱🔥
His rise has been seriously quick. After joining Liverpool from Rennes this summer, Jacquet immediately found himself playing important minutes, and his performances have clearly convinced Zidane that he deserves a place among France’s elite. His impressive display against Fulham, including a crucial goal-line clearance in the 0-0 draw, was one of the moments that strengthened his case. 👀💪
And then there’s Bradley Barcola… ⚡🔥
The explosive winger is already an established France international, but this call-up gives Liverpool fans another reason to be excited about their blockbuster summer arrival. Barcola joined the Reds from Paris Saint-Germain on a long-term deal after an incredible spell in Paris that included Champions League success and multiple domestic trophies. 🏆🔴
Liverpool now have a growing French contingent in the senior squad, with Barcola and Jacquet joined by Hugo Ekitike. 🇫🇷🔴 The club itself highlighted how Barcola’s arrival increased Liverpool’s French presence to three players.
But Jacquet’s story is the one stealing the spotlight. 🌟
From being one of France’s highly-rated young defenders to earning a major move to Liverpool, and now receiving his first senior France invitation under Zinedine Zidane, his rise has been nothing short of rapid. 🚀🇫🇷
And what a dressing room awaits him! 😳
Jacquet could now find himself training alongside Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Michael Olise, Eduardo Camavinga and a host of other French superstars. 🤯🔥
Zidane’s first France squad includes several new faces as the legendary former Real Madrid boss begins his tenure. France’s opening Nations League fixtures will see them face Türkiye on September 25, Belgium on September 28, Italy on October 2 and Belgium again on October 5.
JÉRÉMY JACQUET IS NOW A FRENCH INTERNATIONAL! 🇫🇷🌟
Liverpool bought the potential… and Jacquet is already showing why the Reds invested in him. 🔴🔥
Anfield to Clairefontaine. What a rise! 👏🚀🇫🇷
