Alejandro Balde is looking sharp, focused and fully locked in as Barcelona continue their preparations under Hansi Flick. 💪🔥
The 22-year-old left-back remains one of Barça’s most explosive weapons from defence. His combination of speed, power and attacking instincts allows him to turn defensive situations into dangerous attacking moments in seconds. ⚡️
Balde has been an important part of Barcelona’s recent success, collecting three La Liga titles, three Spanish Super Cups and a Copa del Rey during his time with the first team. He has also developed into one of the club’s key homegrown players after progressing through La Masia. 🔵🔴🏆
His importance to Flick’s squad is reflected in the 2026/27 squad numbers too, with Balde retaining the iconic No. 3 shirt.
There is also a sense of unfinished business for Balde. During Barça’s pre-season, he spoke openly about wanting to improve further, admitting that there is still plenty of room for development in his game. 💯
That mentality could be crucial.
With Barcelona competing on multiple fronts again, Balde’s ability to provide width, overlap, recover quickly and stretch opposition defences gives Flick another major attacking outlet from the left. 🚀
And these training pictures tell their own story…
Balde looks hungry. Balde looks ready. Balde looks determined. 😮💨🔥
The next chapter of his Barcelona story is already underway. 🔵🔴✨
