Liverpool have been handed one of the toughest possible assignments in the Carabao Cup fourth round, with Chelsea coming to Anfield for a heavyweight showdown! 💥🏟️
The Reds booked their place in the last 16 with a 3–1 victory over Tottenham, while Chelsea produced a crazy 6–3 win against Leeds United to reach the same stage.
Now the two Premier League giants collide… and only ONE can make it through to the quarter-finals! 👀🔥
The fixture comes with an extra layer of spice because Xabi Alonso will return to Anfield as Chelsea manager. The former Liverpool midfielder enjoyed a memorable spell with the Reds as a player, making this a particularly intriguing reunion.
And Liverpool certainly haven’t been handed an easy route so far. After overcoming Tottenham, they now face Chelsea before even reaching the quarter-finals. 😮💨
