Karim Adeyemi has wasted absolutely no time embracing the Barcelona mentality. 😤🔥
The German forward has made a bold declaration about his new club, insisting that Barça have the quality to defeat any opponent and describing them as the best team in the world.
Speaking after Barcelona’s sensational start to the 2026/27 campaign, Adeyemi was asked whether the Catalan giants are capable of going all the way in the Champions League.
His response was clear:
“For me, Barça is the best team in the world. We can beat any rival and we have incredible quality.” 🌍🔥
And there is more.
Adeyemi revealed that the players inside the dressing room are not sitting around obsessing over the Champions League trophy. Their approach is much simpler: win the next match. ⚔️
The thinking is straightforward. Keep winning, keep improving and eventually the trophies will follow.
At the time of the interview, Barcelona had won all six of their matches, giving Adeyemi plenty of reason to believe in the team’s potential.
The summer arrival has also made an explosive start individually.
Adeyemi scored a spectacular goal against Feyenoord at Camp Nou, sending the stadium into another level of celebration and quickly winning over the Barcelona supporters. He then found the net again against Levante, continuing his impressive introduction to life in Catalonia. 🔥⚽
But Adeyemi isn’t simply talking about goals.
He has already bought into Hansi Flick’s demands, explaining that the forwards are expected to be the first defenders and contribute aggressively to the team’s pressing game. He also says Flick wants him to play with freedom, use his speed, attack one-on-ones and combine with his teammates. 💨⚡
That combination of confidence, pace and attacking freedom could make him a frightening weapon for Barça.
And the confidence inside the squad is growing.
Barcelona aren’t hiding their ambitions. Adeyemi says the team wants to take things game by game, while ultimately aiming to compete for everything available. 🏆🏆🏆
From arriving as a new signing…
To scoring spectacular goals…
To becoming a fan favourite…
And now openly declaring that Barça can beat anyone…
Adeyemi is already talking like someone who believes Barcelona can conquer Europe. 👑🌍
The Champions League journey is still long, but the message from inside the Barcelona dressing room is becoming increasingly clear:
They believe they can beat anyone. They believe they can win everything. And Adeyemi is loving every minute of it. 🔵🔴🔥🏆
