Ferran Torres has revealed the one thing he simply could not take with him when he left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain, and it has nothing to do with football boots, clothes or personal belongings. It was Pedri! 😂😭
Speaking about his move to Paris, Ferran admitted that the relocation has been a hectic experience as he continues bringing his belongings from Barcelona to his new home. While he has managed to take plenty of familiar things with him, one former Barça teammate had to stay behind.
“The only thing I couldn’t bring with me is Pedri. I already miss him,” Ferran joked. 😂💔
The comments highlight the close friendship the two Spanish internationals developed during their time together at Barcelona. After several seasons sharing the same dressing room, Ferran is now adjusting to life in a completely different environment at PSG.
And judging by his performances, the move has started brilliantly. 🔥🇪🇸 Ferran has reportedly scored seven goals in his first six appearances for the Parisian club, including a hat-trick in the Champions League and goals in important domestic fixtures. His fast start has immediately made him one of the attacking players attracting plenty of attention in Paris.
Off the pitch, however, the transition has been a little more complicated. Ferran has spoken about the difficulty of suddenly leaving Barcelona, moving to another country and beginning to learn French. He has also reunited with familiar Spanish faces at PSG, including Fabián Ruiz and Dro Fernández. 🇪🇸🇫🇷
But apparently, none of those familiar faces can replace Pedri. 😂
