Shane, the son of Barcelona legend Patrick Kluivert, has been part of La Masia since joining the club in 2017 at just nine years old. He has continued climbing through the Barça system and recently took another major step by making his first-team debut under Hansi Flick.

Shane became the latest Kluivert to wear the famous Barça shirt, almost 28 years after his father made his own Barcelona debut. Patrick went on to score 122 goals in 257 appearances for the club.
Shane can operate on either wing or through the centre, giving Flick another young attacking option. Barcelona also renewed his contract in April 2026, keeping him at the club until June 2028.
