Liverpool could be preparing for a sensational double swoop from Manchester City, with Jérémy Doku and Antoine Semenyo reportedly on the Reds’ radar. 👀💰
According to a report from Indykaila, Liverpool are keeping tabs on both attackers and could be ready to make a move if City are forced into a quick-fire sale to raise revenue following developments in their long-running financial case. The report has also been picked up by Football365, although it stresses that the claim should be treated cautiously.
And this story gets even juicier… 😳🔥
Semenyo is already a player Liverpool have admired. The Ghana international joined Manchester City from Bournemouth in January 2026 after previously being linked with a move to Anfield. His explosive pace, physicality and ability to operate from either flank made him an attractive option for Liverpool.
Then there is Jérémy Doku. ⚡🇧🇪
The Belgian winger is one of the most dangerous one-on-one attackers in the Premier League, capable of stretching defences with blistering acceleration and direct dribbling. City reportedly secured his long-term future with a contract running until June 2031, making any potential departure particularly complicated.
But the financial situation surrounding City has suddenly added another layer to the transfer speculation. Reports say an independent tribunal has found the club guilty on the vast majority of the Premier League’s financial charges, with the case now moving towards an appeal process. Manchester City deny wrongdoing and remain determined to prove their innocence.
If any financial sanctions eventually required City to raise substantial funds through player sales, Liverpool could potentially be watching closely. 💰👀
Liverpool themselves made significant changes to their squad during the 2026 summer window, including the arrivals of Bradley Barcola, Jérémy Jacquet, Víctor Muñoz and Ronald Araújo, while Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konaté departed. Reports have also highlighted the need for additional depth in wide areas.
Imagine Liverpool suddenly having Doku AND Semenyo available alongside their current attacking options. 😮💨🔥
The speed.
The power.
The dribbling.
The Premier League experience.
Anfield could be watching one of the most unexpected transfer battles of the coming windows unfold. 🔴👀
For now, there is no confirmed Liverpool bid for either player, and City’s financial case is still subject to the appeal process. But if circumstances force the Etihad club into selling, Liverpool reportedly want to be ready to pounce. 💣🔴
DOKU TO LIVERPOOL? SEMENYO TO ANFIELD? 👀🔥
The transfer saga could be getting VERY interesting. 🍿🔴
